Google inc added a Video and Voice chat feature into Gmail on Nov 11, Tuesday. It's a free web based service and in competition with Skype, an eBay's world known product.

Gmail users now can talk to friends and see them on a video simultanously, as well as send them an instant message on Gmail Chat box. The video screen is quite flexible. A user can increase or decrease the size of the screen. It can also be taken out of the chat box and moved around on the screen or can be viewed full screen.

"The idea was to make it quicker and easier to communicate with other people by whatever means is best convenient. It's a nice alternative for businesses looking for another way for people to connect." said Google spokesman Jason Freidenfelds.

Basic requirement are there to use this feature. A Webcam is required for a video conference/chat. Voice chat can still be done if a user doesn't have a webcam. This feature is available for both PC and Apple computer users.

Developers of the Virus are expecting huge benefit from the US President-elect Barack Obama with a bunch of Spam Messages to offer news of his Victory. The message contains a link which points to a video of Obama's acceptance speech. It in fact, redirects to a website which downloads a spy program automatically. Spy programs steals sensitive information from a user's computer.

The information then can be used to access online accounts, steal identity and falsify credit card transaction. The virus also converts a user's computer into Botnet. Botnet is a network of computers programmed to perpetuate spam campaigns.

'The hackers are taking advantage of Obama-mania,' said Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant for SophosLabs.

'So many people have been excited or interested in (the election), that they might be susceptible to it. We hope people are beginning to learn not to click on these things.'

Bharatiya Janata Party's Prime Minister hopeful Lal Krishna Advani's Website has been launched on 8th Nov Saturday afternoon. It was L.K. Advani's birthday and the website was proudly launched by former governor of Jammu and Kashmir S.K. Sinha.

The website contains 700 pages and 350 images and is very interactive. The website address is lkadvani.in. Sudheendra Kulkarni, Advani's close colleague said, "This is the biggest portal of any political leader in India." Sudheendra Kulkarni also helped put together the website for L.K. Advani.

On the occasion, Advani said Internet is the third big invention of our times. "First major radical invention for humanity was of the wheel, second electricity and third id the internet. This technology has opened up new avenues to interact with people," Advani said.
