Google's YouTube is world's best and quite popular video sharing site. There could be two possibilities, if you're unable to view videos on YouTube. Either you've out dated Adobe Flash Player OR you've JavaScript Disabled, OR both anyways.
To be able to view videos on YouTube, you need to have the latest version of Adobe's Flash Player and a JavaScript on your respective browser should be Enabled.
Click Here to download the latest version of Adobe's Flash Player from the Adobe's official website.
Secondly, follow the instructions given below for your respective Web Browser to enable JavaScript.
Firefox: From the menubar: Tools --> Options --> Content --> Enable Javascript.
Opera: Tools --> Quick Preferences --> Enable Javascript.
IE: 2 Methods
(Not recommended) Tools --> Internet Options --> Security --> Internet --> Custom Level
From the Security Settings dialog, scroll down to the Scripting group and tick "enable" beside Active Scripting.
(Recommended) Tools --> Internet Options --> Security --> Trusted Sites (click the green circle) --> Custom Level
From the Security Settings dialog, scroll down to the Scripting group and make sure the "enable" button is selected beside Active Scripting. Click OK to close the dialog. Click the Trusted Sites button. In the Add This Web Site To This Zone textbox, type in http://www.youtube.com . Click Add. Click OK. Click OK again to close the Internet Options dialog.
The first enables Javascript for all sites, the second only for sites you trust.
Also, you must check your Antivirus/Internet Security Suits. Some of the Antivirus/Internet Security Suits disable JavaScript on their own. In that case, you need to edit settings for your Antivirus/Internet Security Suits.
