Move Mouse Pointer with Your Eyes Movement - Contact Lens Mouse

New kind of Contact Lenses have been discovered that moves your mouse pointer with the movement of your eyes. Funny and interesting one!!! Well I CONTACT, designed by Eun-Gyeong Gwon & Eun-Jae Leeoriginally, is essentially a mouse fitted to your eyeball. The lens is inserted like any other normal contact lens except it’s laced with sensors to track eye movement, relaying that position to a receiver connected to your computer.

The idea was originally created for people with disabilities but anyone could use it. Those of us too lazy to use a mouse now have a free hand to do whatever it is people do when they sit at the computer for endless hours.

One thing I'd like to mention here is that they didn't mention how to click. Now here is the funniest thing. May be you have to blink your eyes to click. How about double click then? I'm sure you've practiced it just now while you're reading this... Comment below how you felt it.

Google Adsense Suddenly Started Showing Up Public Service Ads

Just a couple of hours back I noticed that Google Adsense has started showing up Public Service Ads. As I surfed further, I noticed this change in many websites which I regularly visit. I then visited my own blog and I too had the same problem.

I Googled for any update or known issues but there is none. Instead I found so many others complaining the same in discussion boards and support forums.

Here is one of the complaints made by free3dart:

I am running a blog for the past 7 months, I earned around 300$ per month from valid clicks. I have a good traffic and my account produces 5000 imps at the average. but suddenly adsense displays Public service ads, any idea?

Visit this discussion Here. Till moment, I have not received or known any issues with it. But there is an issue. Post your comments if you have the same problem, or have any information.

Print Pics Directly from Your iPhone or iPod Touch

Looking for a way to print images from your iPod Touch or iPhone without having to transfer them to your computer first? Air Photo is just what you need.

There are two components to Air Photo: the server (a free download and runs on both Windows and Mac) and the client app, which you'll find on the App Store (just search for air photo).

In a single-server setup, the app will automatically connect via Bonjour - otherwise you can use the connect button to specify the server you'd like to use for printing. Press the print button, and your server's Air Photo window will activate. It automatically selects landscape or portrait orientation and allows you to scale images or leave white space.

Key Features:
  • Works with all printers
  • Automatically connect if only one server is present
  • Simple and direct interface
  • Server works on both Mac OS X and Windows
  • Settings on the server for cropping/white space control
  • Persistent printer settings.
  • Only need to set up once Automatic portrait/landscape adjustment
At $1.99, the app is a great buy - especially if you print a lot of images that you've saved on your iPhone or Touch. Source: Download Squad

Run SkyPe from Your USB Flash Drive

Skype provides a great interface to chat with friends (Voice chat & Video Chat), and make cheap phone calls as well. The application needs to be installed in your desktop computer or laptop. That means you can access Skype account only from your computer. But now, you can use it on the go or from wherever you are. You can actually make Skype portable by running it from your USB Flash Drive.

Mark from MakeUseOf, explains it with very simple instructions. Skype doesn't officially offer a portable version of their app, but by moving the application to your flash drive/thumb drive and creating a data folder for Skype on that drive with a few simple tweaks, Skype runs smoothly and in portable style.

How To Download Unlimited from Rapidshare Without Waiting

This guide is only for free Rapidshare Account users. Do not go away even if you know how to generate Premium Rapidshare links. You might have limitations on generating rapidshare premium links per day. But here, you won't have limitations on generating premium links with the website I'm going to talk about.

Search RS is just another site which generates 'n' number of premium links for you per day. The only downside is, it stores your files only for 60 minutes. That means you have to download your premium links generated, within 60 mins. But you do not have to wait to generate a premium link and can download immediately. You can also use your download accelerator or download manager. Note that, it doesn't support "Resume" (Not Checked with Each Download Manager).

Just visit the website, enter you rapidshare link/links, enter captcha, and click download, you'll get premium link/links to download on your next screen. That's it.

Dual Boot Windows 7 with XP or Vista

Have you ever used Dual Operating Systems on your computer? It simply means that there are two operating systems installed in your computer and you can choose any one of them to operate on at a time. People have used Windows XP and Windows ME, Windows Server 2000 and Windows 98 SE together. Many advanced programmers use Windows OS with Linux/Unix as well.

It gives a comfort on which level you wish to perform you task. If you have Windows 2000 with Win 98, and you only wish to get a print-out of one of your office documents, using Win-98 would be easy instead of loading heavy Windows 2000 Server.

Anyways, here is one more benefit of using Dual Operating Systems. Since Windows 7 is publicly released now, you can Dual Boot Windows 7 with XP/Vista in order to check it's features, it's comfort level as well as it's overall performance. So that anytime you require you can switch back to your primary Operating System.

I came across with a very good tutorial at TechSpot. Which shows you how to just do it in 3 easy steps. Click a link below to viiew step by step instructions.

Top 10 Banned Video Games

Manhunt 2 may be the hot topic today following the British Board of Film Classification's questionable decision to reject the game and refusal to give it a classification (thus making it illegal to sell in the UK), but banning games is more worryingly common than you may realize. Here's 10 games that have been gagged across the world... Categorized by Games Radar

10. 50 Cent: Bulletproof
Banned in: Australia

Why? The Australian censor is notoriously heavy-handed, and ranks as one of the most ban-happy boards in the world. While the Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC) accepted the foul language, drug use and excessive violence in Fiddy's actually-quite-crap vanity exercise, they were turned off by the slow-motion counter-kills - specifically the ones involving knives and onscreen blood splatter. To be brutally honest, it was no great loss...

9. Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines
Banned in: Germany

Why? Germany enforces extremely strict censorship on videogames, and as such game publishers will often do a special Teutonic version to pacify the examiners. An oft-quoted example is the use of green blood, which marks the character being killed as an "alien," thus making it more acceptable. Commandos was banned on a more obvious technicality: an issue with missions that involve allied soldiers going on missions to kill Nazis, and use of the swastika.

8. Poké
mon
Banned in: Saudi Arabia

Why? One of the more bizarre bannings has religious foundations - in 2001 Pokémon and all its associated spin-off games were the subject of a fatwa in Saudi Arabia, which said the games featured the Star of David, which Saudis associate with Israel and international Zionism. It was suggested the games had "possessed the minds" of Saudi children. The edict was expected to be followed rather strictly, as punishments would likely include lashings and deportation.

7. The Guy Game

Banned in: United States

Why? A morally reprehensible game in theory and in practice (IGN gave it 7.7), The Guy Game was a frat boy's dream that focused mostly on tits and beer with some trivia thrown in. What its makers failed to realize was that one of the cheerleaders who flashed her parts on camera during the course of the game was only 17, and thus underage. She complained and the game became illegal.

6. Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction

Banned in: South Korea

Why? Not surprisingly South Korea don't take too lightly to games that involve fictional representations of wars between themselves and their slightly mental Northern cousins. To be honest, we'd probably be the same if old Kim Jong II was breathing down our necks.

5. Command and Conquer: Generals

Banned in: China

Why? This strategy game got the backs of the Chinese government up, with the Ministry Of Culture proclaiming it "smeared the image of China and the Chinese army." It also took offense that the game required players to destroy various national monuments like the Three Gorges dam.

4. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2

Banned in: Mexico

Why? Seriously pissed off one Chihuahua Governor Jose Reyes Baeza Terraces, who discovered that Ubisoft's game featured a fictional storyline in which citizens of Chihuahua fled their town and were replaced by armed insurgents. Unfortunately, Terraces exposed his painful lack of video game knowledge when he was quoted as saying, "Violent video games ... attempt to divide the good will of the residents of American and Mexican cities."

3. Reservoir Dogs

Banned in: New Zealand

Why? No great surprises here, as anything associated with Quentin Tarantino seems to attract a fair degree of controversy - not that he had anything to do with this woeful adaptation of his 1992 film debut. Amazingly, given the film's cult classic status today, the BBFC (which is responsible for the banning of Manhunt 2) initially refused to give it a video classification, and it wasn't until 1995 that UK film fans could see it outside of a movie theater. The New Zealand Office of Film and Literature Classification banned it on much the same grounds as the BBFC did, saying "the film tends to promote and support the infliction of extreme violence and extreme cruelty… for the purpose of entertainment."

2. Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure
Banned in: Australia

Why? Although style guru Marc Ecko's graffiti game was initially granted a 15 rating by the Australian OFLC, it was later banned after an appeal ruled that the game promoted an illegal act (graffiti), gave hints and tips on how to do it and rewarded the player for scribbling "I love Tracey" on public buildings and infrastructure. Clearly the Aussies don't do hip-hop.

1. Postal

Banned in: 13 countries

Why? The fact it's advertised as banned in 13 countries works in the same way that Ruggero Deodato's exploitation-film classic Cannibal Holocaust was supposedly banned in 50 countries - it's a great selling point. Unsurprisingly, it's not available in Germany and Australia, and someone tried to get it banned in the US. It's got a lot to do with the fact the minimal plot involves the lead character going on a killing spree, shooting people, innocent or not, simply because he's angry about being evicted from his house.

Make Your Favorite Music Stars Sing Your Own Lyrics

I found a very funny online utility (or a passtime for many others) today. You can make your favorite singers sing a song written by you. All you have to do is to enter in some text (any text), and singers like Michale Jackosn, Michael Bolton, Christina Aguilera and many others will sing it for you. In addition to that, you can also share that remixed song and lyrics with your friends via email.

"Let Them Sing It For You" is a very funny and interesting text to speech application. You have to type in your own lyrics in the box given and the service will use actual sound clips of famous music stars to convert those words into a song.

You all might be aware of "Server Not Found" error message. Sometimes you know that you have typed the site URL correctly but the browser shows "Server Not Found" error message due to connection problem or downtime and you have to keep loading the page again and again until it starts opening.

Google Image Search Starts Displaying Text Ads

Back in 2006, Google mentioned that they could have added more $80 to $200 Million a year to their revenue by placing a text ads to their Image Search. But Google did not carry out the project since experiment stated that people used the Ad Service less. Now again in 2009, Google has started Text Ads in it's image search service. It's not yet clear how useful it would be for people and Google but it's clear that Google has now a new source to generate more revenues.

"Whenever we make changes like these, we carefully evaluate users' reactions to ensure we're holding true to our basic principles: that ads by Google should always be relevant and useful. Of course, these experiments benefit Google because they generate revenue from new sources — but by ensuring that we show the right ads at the right time to the right people, we'll add value for users too," explained a Google blog post from November, source.

Now FaceBook IM and Twitter's Twitt on Pidgin

Pidgin is a great multi-protocol IM client. Out of the box it provides support for 15 different protocols, including most of the important ones: MSN, Yahoo, Gtalk, ICQ, and XMPP to name a few. Two glaring omissions include Facebook IM and Twitter - both of which are built-in to Digsby by default.

Thanks to the developers of two plugins, a couple quick downloads and some simple instructions can remedy the situation with minimal effort. To top it off, the finished product only uses about 20mb of memory - under half what Digsby consumes.

This article has been spotted on Download Squad. The full tutorial is given on how to add Twitter and Facebook support to Pidgin for Windows at their site.

YouTube Lets Users to Download Obama's Weekly Videos

Of course, you can download Barack Obama's Weekly Address Videos the same way you would be downloading other YouTube Videos. But YouTube has officially allowed it's users to download especially Barack Obama's Weekly Videos. I'm not sure whether YouTube is going to let this option open for all other videos stored, but lot of guessing is going on it on various websites and communities.

As you can see in the screen shot given below, there's an option called "Click to Download". Lot of people believe that YouTube has started this service for all other videos, but let me make this clear that, till the moement I write this, YouTube allows users to download only those videos which Barack Obama addresses weekly, or may be a couple of others politically related. You won't find this link to download other videos anywhere in YouTube. There may be a possibilities that YouTube is testing this feature.

Anyways people know how to download videos even if it's against YouTube's TOS. People do so by arguing, what if a Video gets deleted or removed by uploader? They do so just to have a copy of the video. post your comments on it.
